Please follow the instructions below:

Option One:

Select FUNDRAISING EVENT DONATION, and fill in the donor information.
Enter VINTGAGE FUND
You will be given an option to send an e-card to accompany your donation.
To designate your donation, select in HONOUR OF and type in name.
Enter your credit card information.
Submit Donation.

Option Two:

click onto GENERAL DONATION year round
fill in donor information. You will be asked to Select a Fund. SEARCH BY ENTERING THREE LETTERS FROM THE FUND NAME (enter VIN)

Donors will receive electronic tax receipts; The Calgary Foundation will issue a tax receipt for donations of $25 and up.

The Vintage Fund

Wine cares for your physical and mental well-being. A nice glass of wine is said to have life-restoring properties, and we all know it does wonders for your spirit. It is with this in mind that Willow Park Wines and Spirits started the Vintage Fund in 2001.

The Vintage Fund, which is managed by The Calgary Foundation, operates as an endowment fund for the future. Each year the fund distributes the interest earned to various charitable causes in Alberta. The Calgary Foundation is Calgary's community Foundation that administers close to 400 endowment funds and bequests.

As the creator of this fund, Willow Park Wines & Spirits and our dedicated staff plan events in our facilities that help the Vintage Fund grow. To date, we have raised over 1,000,000 for the fund. We appreciate your support and look forward to making the goal a reality!

In 2007, Willow Park Wines & Spirits announced that the Vintage Fund will host a variety of events that will raise funds exclusively for MCF Housing for Seniors. Included in these events, Willow Park Wines & Spirits will work with the Calgary Flames Alumni and will also host the Second Annual Spurs & Spirits Festival with proceeds going towards the MCF Housing for Seniors via the Vintage Fund.

Vision

It is the mandate of this fund to build a Senior's Care Centre that focuses on building a community that is warm and welcoming, offering more than a steel structure and the basic neccessities. We envision a welcoming foyer with a wood-burning fireplace, a library off to the side and a small cozy lounge where everyone can enjoy their favourite wine.

Since 1962, the MCF has provided affordable housing and services for seniors through a range of independent and supportive living options. MCF, with the support of the Willow Park Wines & Spirits' Vintage Fund, is planning to build a 150 unit self-contained supportive housing facility located on the north end of the Bow Valley property. The Bow Valley Facility will provide 150 units with 10 suite layouts in 1 and 2 bedroom accommodations.
